我最近有机会在上海的长跑中尝试了来自法国的MILLET觅乐Drynamic3D Mesh隔离排汗运动内衣。在随时可能遭遇恶劣天气和下雨气温骤降的环境中，这件装备和它的革命性技术完全重写了游戏规则。

I have recently had the opportunity to try out theMillet Drynamic 3D Mesh base layer on my long runs in Shanghai. In anenvironment with potential bad weather and quick temperature changes whenit rains, this garment and it’s revolutionary technology was a gamechanger.

在登山界有句话说“出汗即死”。这背后的原因是，如果你在运动阶段出汗变湿，那么在你的休息阶段，你的身体渐渐降温，会使你感到很冷，因为你的皮肤水分加速你的热量流失。变冷并不是唯一由出汗引起的问题，摩擦也是其中之一。跑步时汗湿的皮肤和衣服之间的摩擦同样会毁掉你的整个运动。

In the mountaineering world, as-the-saying-goes “If you sweat,you die”. The reasoning behind this is that if you were to get wet duringyour effort phase, your resting phase, where your body cools downs, wouldlead you to get cold as your skin moisture accelerates your heat loss.Getting cold is not the only concern caused by sweat as chaffing is also one ofthem. Wet skin against clothes while running is a great way to chafe and ruinyour work-out.

This new piece of technology hasbeen designed to reduce all these issues with a verysmart combination of fabric and design.

这套装备的工作原理是，它不像标准的排汗T恤（通常由导水的亲水性聚酯纤维制成）那样吸收和蒸发汗液，而主要由疏水性聚丙烯制成（可消除水分）。由于蜂窝网系统，跑者的汗液通过其编织系统排出。然后水分被你排汗的T恤吸收，这有助于汗液的蒸发。

The way the gear works is thatinstead of absorbing and evaporating the sweat, like a standardwicking t-shirt (usually made from water conducting hydrophilicpolyester), the garment is made mostly from polypropylene which ishydrophobic (repeals water). Thanks to it honeycomb mesh system,the runner’s sweat evacuates through its braided system. The moisture inthen absorbed by the wicking t-shirt which helps with the evaporationof the sweat.

To summarize, this underwearallows you to keep your skin dry by adding a protective layer between yourskin and your wet wicking garments. Although wicking t-shirts dry fast,you still have instants when they are wet and cold on the skin, the MilletDrynamic 3D Mesh attempts to fix just that.

I The Looks

It’s not really an importantfactor as this is a garment that is hidden under your clothes. But it doeslook very futuristic and might intrigue those who see you withnothing else on. I appreciate the fact that the bottom matches perfectlythe top in terms of fabric and colors.

I The Feel

As soon as you put on the MilletDrynamic 3D Mesh, it’s soft touch on the skin feels amazing. The top andthe bottom are completely seamless and close to the body with it’s highelasticity. The mesh body doesn’t add much warmth as it is not its purpose. Thefabric is so smooth that I would personally use this also as a sleepgarment on warm nights.

I 在跑场上

我在上海潮湿的春天中长跑，使用了MILLET觅乐Drynamic3D Mesh隔离排汗运动内衣，期间我经历了非常大的天气变化。

我最近在上海市区沿黄浦江28公里的长跑中使用了这套运动装备。对于这么长的距离，皮肤擦伤是一个真正需要关注的问题，我必须带上特殊的乳霜来避免这些疼痛。在应对擦伤方面，这件衣服是绝对的完胜。汗水从我的皮肤被立即吸除以防止任何不舒服的摩擦，我身体上通常的摩擦点也全程无碍。MILLET觅乐在此大获全胜。

I On the field

I used the Millet Drynamic 3DMesh base layers during my long runs in the Shanghai wet springs whereI experienced huge weather shifts.

I used the outfit on my latest longrun, 28km along the Huangpu river in Shanghai downtown. For distances thislong, chaffing is a real concern and I am required to bring special creamsto avoid these pains. In terms of chaffing, these garments were atotal win, the sweat being instantly removed from my skinprevented any uncomfortable rubbing and my usual hotspots were fine the wholeway. A bigwin for Millet on that one.

在散热方面，我想说当天的条件对跑者非常有利。我确实在阳光下暴露了一会并感到变热了一点，但在我的MILLET觅乐排汗内衣和排汗T恤的帮助下，我在整个跑步过程中保持干燥，排汗良好。在这些特定条件下，该技术的确非常有效。

当我中间停下来休息时，我感到很干爽，因为汗水立刻从皮肤上消失，并在没有直接接触皮肤的T恤上蒸发。

In terms of heat/warmth management, Iwould say the conditions were very favorable for a runner that day. I did getexposed to the sun quite a bit adding to the heat, and the sweating was verywell managed as I felt the combination of my Millet Dynamic 3D Mesh and wickingt-shirt allowed me to stay dry the whole run. For these specific conditions,the technologyworked great.

As I stopped for a mid-runrest, I felt dry as the moisture had been immediately removed frommy skin and evaporating on my contact free shirt.

As a side note, I would notbother wearing the top if I knew I would experience temperaturesabove 20 degrees as the added warmth would outweigh the benefits of thesweat removal. Ideal conditions are mountainous,cold and humid locations.The bottom, with its seamless technology is however good for year-roundall conditions with its great comfort and anti-chaffing capabilities.

I 结论

I Conclusion

Millet is really providing a greatpiece of equipment for runners like me who want to feel comfortable throughoutthe day. This lightweight garment provides a great warmth to weight ratio withthe added value of going home without any chaffing hot spots. For yourlong runs or cold trail days this is a great piece to add toyour running closet.
